MANYLA Productions is a boutique film company based in Cannes.
I created MANYLA to craft stories where identity, memory and transformation meet the language of cinema and touch the soul through beauty.
The focus of the house is on stories that explore the inner human world and open a new path for narratives that heal the soul by unfolding its truth.
MANYLA breathes from Cannes to the world, developing films that move between intimacy and poetic vision — a signature that shapes identity and character to my creative voice and DNA.
To me, cinema is not entertainment; it is a bridge between the visible and the invisible, a place where personal truth becomes narrative, and narrative becomes legacy.
Each project is crafted with intention, aesthetic rigor and an international horizon.

MANYLA develops original films authored and directed by Maryah Manyla. The company is currently developing its first feature film from Cannes, opening an international artistic slate with a boutique, author-driven vision.
My vision through MANYLA is rooted in that identity is the path to remembering who we are — and cinema is the language through which the hidden self becomes visible. In other words, to restore identity through cinema.
I shaped MANYLA to give birth to stories that:

Every story and film is conceived as a journey of the soul, a meeting point where the language of art unites us as human beings, where our human identity converges to cross continents, generations, and the deeper layers of being.
I began my journey through art at the age of three, and since then I decided to make this journey of creation an answer to my personal path in order to remember who I am and be able to do what I love the most: touching the soul of people through beauty.
I was born in Barcelona and reborn through art, where Maryah Manyla was born. I create from a place where art, identity and inner truth converge in an intimate space that allows me to open my soul while meeting the frame.
Born in the Mediterranean and shaped by journeys across America, the Middle East and Europe, my voice blends poetic image, emotional honesty and the search for origin in order to remember identity. My view is born out of transformation — both personal and artistic — and by a deep commitment to restoring the voice and truth through characters.
I am an actress, writer, director and producer with a background in International Relations and professional training in screenwriting, production management and applied AI for audiovisual creation within the Spanish public broadcasting ecosystem (RTVE).
As the founder, CEO and creative director of MANYLA Productions, I lead each project with a cross-cultural vision, combining European artistic sensibility with Asian cinematic depth and an international narrative scope.
I am currently working on the first feature film to be born through MANYLA. This first film is MANYLA’s visual statement that builds a body of cinema rooted in beauty, genuine truth and generational restoration.
Maryah’s & Manyla’s mission is to create films that reveal identity, honor the origin and open paths for the next generation of artists. I do believe that art is the way to heal the soul across borders and the power that makes cultures share the beat of life.
